Facebook Ads Audit: Find Where Your Budget Is Leaking

A line-by-line review of your Meta ad account, tracking, creative and lead flow, delivered as a short, prioritized list of what to fix first.

  • 40+ checksAcross account, tracking, creative and leads
  • Plain EnglishEvery finding explains the cost to you
  • Yours to keepUse the fixes with me or your own team

Why an audit comes before more ad spend

If your cost per lead has crept up, your leads stopped answering the phone, or you simply cannot tell what is working, raising the budget usually makes the problem bigger. An audit tells you whether the issue is in targeting, tracking, creative, the offer, the lead form, or what happens after a lead arrives.

I review the account the way I would if I were taking it over: every active campaign, the learning status of each ad set, where the budget is actually going, what the pixel and Conversions API are reporting compared with your real leads, and how the ads look to the people seeing them.

Common findings

  • Campaigns optimizing for link clicks or landing page views instead of leads
  • Budgets split across too many ad sets, so none exit the learning phase
  • Location targeting that includes people who are only passing through
  • Pixel firing twice, or Conversions API missing, so reported leads do not match reality
  • Instant forms with no qualifying questions, producing junk leads
  • One or two ads carrying the account with frequency above healthy levels
  • Missing Special Ad Category on housing, credit, financial or employment ads, risking rejection

You receive

  • A findings summary ranked by impact
  • Estimated wasted spend where measurable
  • A tracking health check
  • Creative and offer notes
  • A 30-day fix plan
  • A walkthrough call

How the audit works

  1. 01

    Request the review

Tell me about your business and what feels wrong. A free first look takes a short form.

  2. 02

    Grant read access

You add me as a partner with view access, so nothing changes without your approval.

  3. 03

    I review the account

Usually within a few business days, depending on account size.

  4. 04

    Walkthrough call

We go through the findings together and you ask anything.

  5. 05

    Decide next steps

Fix it in-house, have me fix it, or move to ongoing management.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first review really free?

Yes. The free review is a high-level look at your setup and the biggest issue I see. A full written audit of a larger account is a paid project, quoted upfront.

Do you need admin access?

No. View access through Business Manager partner sharing is enough for an audit.

What if I am not running ads yet?

Then I review your plan, website, offer and tracking setup before you spend, which is the cheapest time to catch problems.

Will you tell me if Facebook Ads is the wrong channel?

Yes. If your customers mostly search when they need you urgently, I will say Google Ads is probably the better first step.

How long does an audit take?

Most local business accounts take a few business days from access to walkthrough.

What I look at:

  • Your targeting, audiences and location settings
  • Pixel, Conversions API and lead-event tracking
  • Creative fatigue, hooks and offer strength
  • Lead form quality and follow-up speed
