What Facebook Ads management actually includes

Most local businesses that come to me are already spending on Facebook. The problem is rarely the platform. It is that nobody is accountable for the full chain between the ad and the booked job: who is targeted, what they are offered, how the lead is captured, whether the tracking tells Meta which leads were real, and how quickly the business follows up.

Management means owning that chain. Each month I plan what to test, build and launch campaigns, write and brief creative, watch frequency and cost per lead, move budget toward what produces qualified leads, and report the numbers you care about. I also tell you when the bottleneck is outside the ad account, such as a weak offer, a slow callback process or a landing page that loses mobile visitors.

Built for local service businesses

Local campaigns behave differently from e-commerce. Your audience is limited by geography, so creative wears out faster. Lead quality varies more, because one-tap instant forms make it easy for people to submit without much intent. And many local industries fall under Meta rules that limit targeting, such as the Special Ad Categories for housing, credit, employment and financial products, or the 2025 health and wellness limits on lower-funnel conversion events. Good management plans around these constraints instead of discovering them after a rejected ad.

Facebook and Instagram together

Every campaign runs across Meta placements where it makes sense: Facebook feed, Instagram feed, Reels, Stories and Messenger. Placement decisions are based on cost per qualified lead in your market, not on habit.

A typical month

  • Weekly optimization and budget review
  • 2 to 6 new ad variations tested
  • Lead quality check with your team
  • Search for audience and placement waste
  • Monthly report with next month’s plan

Everything that is part of management

Strategy and offer planning

Before launch we agree on the customer value, service area, target cost per lead and the offer that gives people a reason to act now. This is the plan every campaign is measured against.

Tracking

Meta Pixel, Conversions API, event deduplication and lead quality feedback.

Campaign builds

Lean structures with enough budget per ad set for the algorithm to learn.

Audience strategy

Advantage+ audiences, location controls, retargeting pools and exclusions.

Creative testing

New hooks and formats on a schedule, retired before fatigue sets in.

Lead flow

Instant form questions, landing pages, Messenger and call routing set to filter low-intent leads.

Reporting

Spend, leads, qualified leads, cost per booked job and what changes next month.

How we start working together

  1. 01

    Free review

You send your website and account access or current situation. I look at what is working and what is leaking.

  2. 02

    Plan and quote

You get a short plan with targets and a flat monthly fee. No surprises later.

  3. 03

    Setup week

Partner access, tracking fixes, audiences, the first creative batch and the lead form or landing page.

  4. 04

    Launch and learn

The first 2 to 4 weeks gather data. I watch daily and make controlled changes.

  5. 05

    Optimize and scale

Budget moves to what produces booked jobs. New creative keeps cost per lead stable.

Is ongoing management the right fit?

A good fit if

  • You already know a customer is worth several hundred dollars or more
  • You can respond to new leads within minutes during business hours
  • You have, or can approve, a monthly ad budget of about $1,500 or more
  • You want one person accountable for results

Probably not yet if

  • You only want to boost occasional posts
  • You are not able to take on more jobs right now
  • You need a one-time fix, where an audit is a better start
  • Your budget is below a few hundred dollars a month

Frequently asked questions

How much does Facebook Ads management cost?

I charge a flat monthly fee based on the work the account needs, such as the number of locations, services and campaigns. Across the US market, local business management commonly runs from about $500 to $2,500 or more per month. Your ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate. See the pricing page for details.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Management is month to month. I ask for notice before ending so campaigns can be handed over cleanly.

Will I own my ad account?

Yes. Everything is built inside your own Business Manager and ad account. I work through partner access that you control.

How soon will I get leads?

Usually within the first week of launch. Expect the first 30 to 60 days to be about finding which audiences, offers and creative produce qualified leads at a good cost.

Do you create the ads?

Yes. I write the copy, plan the hooks and angles, and produce or brief the images and short videos. If you have photos or video of your work, they almost always outperform stock.

Can you manage Google Ads too?

Yes. I also manage Google Ads, which helps when you want one person deciding how budget is split between search and social.

What I look at:

  • Your targeting, audiences and location settings
